The novel tells the story of the jinn Jumanah, who married the human Bahr despite her jinn tribe's disapproval, driven by love and disregarding reason and caution. This marriage results in a young child who carries within him the power of fire, waiting for someone to awaken it with ancient expertise. However, Jumanah suffers greatly from this marriage, as her husband works for a criminal organization that contradicts the principles her family believes in, and it seems that this organization's control over her husband is inescapable.
